ONE LAST TIME: In Person Trade - Get Lotsa Plants!!

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

I'm going to make one last offer this season. I have way more plants than I have room for. I have new plants that must get in the ground. I would love to trade with someone nearby this week. Fri it is expected to turn cold, so we need to do it before then.

I'm in Jonesboro, Arkansas, about an hour from Memphis, an hour from Kennet MO, and about 2 hrs from Little Rock. If you intend to take home a truckload of plants, please plan to stay most of the day so we can dig them. If you're coming from a little further distance and want to spend the night, I have a guest room ready.

I have a lot of these:

Vinca Major
Vinca Minor
Chameleon Plant
Water Celery
Other Water Plants
Yellow Flag Iris
Running Elephant Ears
Assorted Cannas
Yucca Filamentosa
LIriope - green monkey grass
Naked Ladies (Belladonna Amaryllis)
Yellow four oclocks bulbs
MULCH (Piles of it!)
Seeds for just about anything you can imagine
Extra garden pots that I won't be using
Maybe other garden stuff I just don't need

I also have a few of these:
Siberian Irises in blue and in purple
Illustris elephant ears
Brugs cuttings
Blackie potato vine
assorted daylilies
assorted irises
butterfly ginger
limelight artemesia
hostas
blue stocking monarda
choc mint
apple mint
maybe cuttings of other mints - havent' checked them to see what's there
variegated ginger
different sedums
moonflower datura roots (hardy in zone 7)
Different houseplants and succulents (An atrium full of exotics)
Other tropicals and perennials I can't remember now.

My primary goal is to clear out what I have so much of. I'd be happy to give you a bunch of it. And then as bonuses I could share the items that I have smaller amounts of.

If you are a newbie with little to trade, don't worry. We can still trade. I'll trade for any kind of daffodils or perennials that I dont' have. And I'll also trade for bamboo canes, dvds (romantic and comedies are my faves), Bob Ross and Donna Dewberry paint supplies, some good comfortable running shoes in a ladies size 9.5 or 10 or men's 8 or 8.5, a big dog bed or cushion for my Sam, and anything that I can use in my garden or my home.

So if you'd like an opportunity to carry home a garden in a truck, holler at me. I have much more to offer than I list here, but it will be in small amounts, maybe just cuttings. I hope someone is interested. I need room for my new plants. HELP.

Here I am 2 hours away, LUSTING in my heart!!! I don't have anything to trade but I have thought about a trip to Sam's for a giant doggie bed and comfortable shoes. I have to keep reminding myself I'm 100% committed timewise. Woe is me!!!!

Milo, ME(Zone 4a)

wow I wish i lived closer there are things i am really looking for :(

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

Well, I wish y'all didn't live so far away. I'd love the opportunity to meet some more fellow gardeners and share my plants. I'm running outta room over here. Judy, just ignore prior obligations and run away from home for a day. I'm sure I can entertain you. LOL

One of the added benefits of visiting me is I'll take you to my lowe's. The perennials, shrubs and trees are at least 50% off. And a few select plants, like gallon size coral bells, black night caropteris and blue mist caryopteris are clearanced to a buck each! I just racked up. I spent about $50 and came home with over 30 gallon plants. The most expensive plants I bought were some hydrangeas for $2.50 each.

See what you're missing? LOL

Nancy,

Now I see why you need someone to come and help you clear out some of your "established" plants. LOL

Hello, I emailed you and didn't think you was interested... I am would like to work something out and am willing to drive down if I can do it before the weather gets too bad... PLMK...

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

Hi Fsr333, I just found your email. I must have missed it. I'm just now getting the hang of Daves. I traded for years on another site and when anyone emailed us, it came straight to our personal email account. I wasn't familiar with a mail box here at Daves. I will email you privately. I'd love to meet ya!

GOOOOOOOOO Starr!!!!!

Take pictures!!! Post them here!!! Starr, we are proud of you!!!

No Pictures!!! OMG, my gardens are a mess. I was so sick this year and didn't get my projects done. I didn't get my gardens weeded, and now they're full of bermuda. What a mess!! I have lots of pretty flowers, but my gardens are attrocious!

Finally, after a couple rounds of antibiotics, I'm able to get back outside this past month and take care of a few things. But not nearly enough. Starr, wear blinders! LOL

I do have pictures of my individual plants on picturetrail.com. You can see some of them at these links if you're really curious:

maineroses - It's not me/JudyAnn, it's NancyAnn (ButterflyChaser) who is being so generous in her trading!!!!

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

She could come and see us both, JudyAnn. In June I'm hosting a "Butterfly Convention", a fancy name for a plant swap. One of my friends in NJ said her husband doesn't think much of a plant swap, but if the name was a bit formal, like a seminar or convention, he'd be more inclined to drive her to it. LOL So we're having a "convention". So perhaps you all could come. It will be in early June. I'm trying to plan it for the same weekend that the Master Gardeners host their Garden of Tours. There are some beautiful gardens on the tour, and it would be fun to show you some of the fancy gardens in my town.

So y'all think about that. It's sometime in early June, maybe the 2nd weekend. Not sure yet.
