Don't get me wrong I like the pinks, but this being my first time to grow brugs it's nice to see a different color in person. Of the 12 I have 5 have been pink. 10 now have buds. Been checking every day since our weather has turned chilly...this baby finally bloomed for me yesterday. I hope the others will as well before they "catch a chill". The scent reminds me of a lily. Please don't ask who it is..I have no idea. I got 3 at the Fl. swap and the rest as cuttings from weeds.
YEA...it's not pink
I know I'm just torturing myself but whats your idea of chilly?
Pretty one! I too, like other colors beside pink.
Chilly? ummmm 60s durning the day and 40s at night??? OK...go ahead and let rip...I'm in duck mode in the corner! For me the perfect weather is no AC or heat..just open windows and doors. But I REALLY do miss snow on Christmas. :-))
I do not recognize that one. Looks like it sure is happy!
I thought it would stay white, but this morning it's showing a faint blush of what I would call apricot. I guess when the temps are cooler they take longer to color up? Brugs sure are interesting especially since I'd never seen one before this year.
I'd bet it will color up better in the warmer weather. V. Cuba was slow to color for me, warm or cold. I honestly don't remember the scent. It wasn't in my garden this year. Bet you are enjoying the blooms, regardless of color.
You're right Brugie,I really am enjoying them. Wish now that I had bought a greenhouse instead of a vaccuum. LOL but the 4 dogs bring in soooo much sand that I didn't have a choice.
Hey Ginger, looking good! Don't you just love them? I will have tons more around December and you can have all you want.
