If anyone has any Pampas grass seed that will not be sterile would you please let me know. I will find something to trade you for it or send SASBE for it whichever you would like.

Pampas Grass Seed Wanted
Sandra, how do you know if they're sterile or not? I have plumes now on my pampas. The seeds aren't ready to gather yet though.
Are you coming this way anytime soon? We could just dig you up a bit. I'm sure I have other stuff you might "need" too.

well, I am not sure, I read somewhere that the fat plumes are female and that the male plants seeds are sterile???? Judy is the one that wants the stuff. I have had my fill of ornamental grass with Zebra Grass. But Judy insists that she wants some. We stopped and talked to a friend of ours that has some greenhouses to see if she had any and she told her that they gave all of theirs away when they had to use the chain saw to cut it back. But still, Judy wants some.
Yes I am sure you have lots of stuff I need--lol--I am always a sucker for anything I don't have, but I have given away a lot of my stuff this year.
I am trying to get it down to where I can handle it. I don't forsee a trip in the near future though, still taking Judy to the neuro and stuff, she got the pain block last Wed, and we go back to the doc next Wed.
Try to catch her a few seeds when they are ready and I will send a SASBE for them, please.
