Yellow Jacket still hanging around on my butterfly

As I was taking a photo of my last blooming petunia this morning a visitor flew in and landed on my butterfly.

That pretty petunia probably had a steady stream of visitors all day - if she's the only, she won't be lonely? heehee

I too am drawn to the few strugglers that are putting out one last flower here or there in the garden's dying foliage. They seem brighter. hunh?

Yup, they are looking might sparce. My impatiens are still hanging on a bit too.

LOL Julie, They do still look nice, but actually they were much more full of blooms a month ago. I am not complaining we usually have had a big frost and maybe even some snow flurries by now. According the the weather man we man get a frost tonight. I guess I better haul in my tropicals. Ugh.
