does anyone have a rooted cutting of a variegated brug they might want to part with for SASE? If this is asking too much, please disregard and attribute it to someone who is not totally up to speed re: plant trading protocol. regards
var. brug
Well, let me tell you what... I may, but no promises at this point. I have the whole plant that I was going to let go. Its in the ground, and did not get very big. I haven't looked at it lately, so I'm only assuming that its still alive. Let me check on it tomorrow and get back to you. It will need to be dug out and I'll have to figure out how much it weighs so we can find out about the postage and if its worth it to you :) Gretchen
PS Its a suaveolens variegata
OK thanks. I look forward to hearing from you at your convenience. where is bulverde? in case yo didn't know richmond is a bedroom communit sw of houston. I usually just say 'm from houston.
Mapquest says its N of san antonio off of hwy 281. If that doesn't pan out let me know. I just took cuttings of Peaches & Cream.

Vossner -- Its still out there and alive. I will try to dig her out tomorrow and see what we have to work with. She and Snowbank are my least favorite brugs. They grow at a snails pace, if at all. She bloomed once last year in the greenhouse, but not at all since she's been in the ground. Do you ever get over to the San Antonio area?
kaufmann, no, i don't get to SA as much as I'd like, will wait to hear from you about what your plant situation.
dstartz, what a thoughtful thing to suggest! thank you. That could work, will decide later after communicating some more w/ Kaufmann. My schedule is a bit unpredictable 'cause it's tied to husband's obligations, and he works 1/2 in Dallas 1/2 in Houston. He gets very little short notice, so we usually get up and go. Most of the time I have internet access so we could be in touch. In any case, thanks for being so sweet and will talk to you later.
Don't know what kinda weather you are having in Bulverde & Alice, but I gotta tell you, today in Houston it is so lovely it can be summed up in 1 word: PERFECTION. hope it's the same for you all.
PS: Oregon too, jeremiah, lol
dstartz, you are too much! thanks
