I know I have posted this brug before but it is having another flush and I just love it to pieces. It is a Susie/Tracey brug and I do not know if it is released yet.
In the first flush it was white, and then the 2nd and 3rd flush it has been highlighted in gold. It is a big brug, 10 inches long, 7 inches across, long tendrils, a curvy and wavy skirt with varying recurve.
It blooms in clusters of great big flowers with attitude!
The buds look like a giant blimp. Big and fat. They are at least 7 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide.
They emerge from the calyx in such an odd manner. Looking like the 2 will never fit together.
They open with a low and snug clayx over a wide skirt.
The skirt itself has so much character! It flares, recurves and is wavy!
The back of the skirt is lightly dusted with a golden color.
The tendrils are golden, and the color spreads down on the points, but the inner circle is white.
It has such a nice inner curves.
And the pod has promise to be a beauty also!
I love it all!! Oh and it has a great fragrance too! LOL

Oh Gloria, the color is one of the best parts. For once I do not want it to be darker. She is tinged with gold. A very unusual and fantastic color!
