Maybe some of you saw that I had asked for the posibility to have "Sticky threads" available in Daves Garden forums and Dave has it now implemented on request http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/465550/
Within this thread I'm looking for proposals/opinions on threads (new to be started, or already existing ones) which we should have as sticky threads (always on top).
My proposals:
1. Diseases and parsites of Hoyas (collect pictures of it where-/whenever you can)
2. Hoya related links

Proposals for sticky threads for Hoya forum
That sounds good, Milan. It would keep the 'big issues' up front and easy to find. I didn't even know until recently that you can do an advanced search under the "Forums" tab for specific information....such as "Hoya pests", or "Mealy Bugs". Once done, you can pick which forums you want to include, then scan the titles pulled by the search for what you're looking for. You can also do a search by "Member" if you have a specific plant maven in mind who's opinion you wish to check without bugging them!

OH, I thought Sticky Threads was about...um...ahem...difficult questions to ask like...um..., oh, you know...like...What IS the real meaning of Life? ....you know...Sticky Subjects.... hmmmmm? :~)
Carol, I still have a cutting of a plant to send you, it's in water putting on its first tiny roots, what I think should be done is wrap it well in newspaper only, so it won't arrive like slime. Our weather is good at this time, and I'll send it priority mail. That should do it on my end. I hope your postal service is as good as mine, it should only take 3 days. It takes 5 days to England 1st class mail. Norma
We should be so lucky!!! to HI it can take between 4 and 10 days...but Hoyas generally arrive in great shape. The ARE tough.
The meaning of life?
You better ask dave to create a new forum for that one and go there only when armed with pitch fork or club :), way to sticky for my taste LOL.
You crack me up, Milan...........you too Carol!
I have to say....to all of you.....I began checking into the forums only a few months ago.....all you 'regulars' are so nice......fun and informative. You make new people feel welcome, and you correct ever so gently.....the hoya forum is my favorite!
Thanks so much...... Karen :~D
