New Seedling is blooming

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

This is from seeds I got from Calla last year. It is L'Amour x Rosamond. I am so excited because it is the first seedling out of many that I have grown out over the last three years that
has not bloomed out white. We are getting really cold nights now, so none of my brugs. are coloring up realy well, but I will take cuttings from this one and grow it again next year to see if the color is darker.

It is already a beauty! Look at those tendrils! A hot pink for sure.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Kell all of mine are blooming alot paler now that our nights are getting
colder. We are suppose to be in the mid 30's at night by mid week.
My Charles Grimaldi is blooming almost lt. yellow now. I had one that I was sure was Rosamond and it looks peach. My H.G. is having trouble dropping it's skirt and the trendils are shriveled.

Patricia, she is looking really nice. I love the tendrils and bet she will be much darker next year. Congrats to you and Susie.

Congratulations of your colored bloom......you deserve it! I bet she will be a beautiful color in warm weather. The shape and tendrils are pretty. I look forward to seeing this one next summer.

The shape is nicer this afternoon, however the color hasn't gotten any darker. I am for sure going to have another go at this one.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I love the shape of this one. Maybe we need a soft pink, lol, we had so many hot pinks over the summer!

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Thanks Cala, It is still darkening a little each day. So it may still get darker. Probably won't know for sure until next year.

Carol, I will save you one.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Very pretty!

Patricia, it is BEAUTIFUL, I LOVE it!!!!! It is wonderful, regardless of the color, I love pale colors like that, as well as white, they are sophisticated and elegant, very pretty, the tendrils are WOW!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

All my pinks are blooming so light right now. Even the dark, dark pink ones that were so dark just 2 weeks ago after that heat wave we had. So the color is totally unreliable! It is a beauty.. I just love the shape. I just know it is a keeper!

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Here she is this morning. It is getting a little darker each day, although I know it won't get as dark as it normally would. We are suppose to drop down in the mid 30's again so this is probably it.

H.G. has finally dropped one of it's skirts also.

Patricia,

It is truly lovely; the colors are so subtle. They remind me of the colors of expensive lingerie. You should be proud of your success!

Weimar, TX(Zone 8b)

This is beautiful, I can't wait to get to growing some.

I posted the first picture of her on the 1st. of Nov. here it is the 9th. and the blooms look as pretty as the last picture. I am sure they have lasted this long because of the cool tempretures, but I sure have enjoyed her.

Ding, ding, ding, gloriag, you win the prize, they surely are reminiscent of expensive lingerie colors, you are right on the button!!! Wow, they are sooooooo pretty and girlie!!

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Thank you Gloriag. I am really proud of her. Being my first special one to bloom, I will probably always keep her.
