Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

I'm going to be in/near Bellingham, Wa. beginning of February next year. Anyone in the Pacific NW interested in having a get together, swap mealiebug war stories and compare fertilizers? I will be in and out of Seedro Woolley (sp.), maybe a day in Seattle... Let me know....

I am going to meet my new grand daughter being born next month...Isabella. I do love the PNW any time of the year (when I am visiting)...the air is so clean and it smells so GOOD!!! I miss the cries of Seagulls - funny living on the island we don't have that many - and the smell of low tide on the sand flats!

Well...sorry you won't be there.....next time!!!

How exciting. An early congratulations. Maybe she will be a Christmas baby.

Oh Carol, YAY!!! I hope I can get up there to meet you!! I was so sad last time you came through my neck of the woods and I didn't get to see you! Let me know dates and times and I'll do my best, I may show up with 5 screaming kids though!!! Any chance you'll come down this way? I'll buy you a huge Tillamook ice cream cone at the factory!!! :O)

Congratulation Grandma Carol. When is she due?
Heather

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

She's due any day...very exciting! I have two grandsons, sort of, with my husbands kids..but somehow this is different!!! Except for hoyas, the only other things I bought in Australia were darling dresses with matching caps and knickers!!!

I hear you, Sandy... Wasn't it Mark Twain who said something like the 'most pleasant winter he ever spent was summer in Puget Sound'!!!

Janice...I know it was a shame when I drove thru Selah and didn't even know you!!! We will see what happens... I would love to meet you. I just know I have a painting class one weekend and the other weekend we are going to Vancouver to shop in IKEA!!!

Carol

Abbotsford, BC(Zone 8a)

Thats funny Carol, never heard of that but most times its true except this summer was a hot one and i wasnt complaining one bit....not sure which Ikea your heading to, Van, BC or Van, WA (if there is one there?) but have fun shopping....if its the one up here, you will go back with more cause of the dollar...you lucky guys!....unfortunately, you wont find many good hoyas in the nurseries :( ....lol

But Carol already has all the good ones, Congrats Carol, I have seven of those (grandchildren) all grown up and out of college except two. The youngest only 7. Norma

Valley Village, CA

I will try and make it, I think it would be fun, I just hate being by myself, I don't think I do well in meeting new people. I never had trouble with this in the past, but just lately. I' have been accused of being too friendly. Norma

Mesa, AZ(Zone 9a)

Oh Norma is very friendly. The first time she met my husband and I, she gave me a hug, but then she gave my husband a BIGGGGGG hug:-). Norma has a wonderful personality and is loads of fun!!

Blessings,
Awanda
