Pumpkins wait to greet you.......
Velcome to my house!
Take care out there....... the witching hour's approaching!
Aww Pam. That's the age they have so much fun. Looks like Dad's enjoying your efforts too.
We love seeing their faces go from almost fear and uncertainty to the point where they said "Hey I did it!! I'm braver than you thought I was!"
Hmm... don't we know one of those lovelies?
Linda I actually miss those days.........a lot can be said for simplicity! :)
That is a real nice pumpkin Linda. It's the kind that let's the little kiddies come to the door without the fright. It's just scary enough.
Yikes! :-) Thanks for these pictures, Pam - it's cool to see someone else's trick-or-treaters, just like seeing someone else's plants! Live, up-to-the-minute action from 3500 km away. Very cool.
lol.....Dave's is really amazing and I must admit this has always been one of our fav holidays. I'm so glad we could share it with you....not sure how much longer we will go to this much work.
Geez Pam, you guys go all out! That's great. Hope you had fun.
We did! :) Seeing their faces always makes it worthwhile. But now a different type of evil ghoul will be haunting the streets...... it's time to put all the creatures in the dungeon for another year! ;)
Hopefully things will not get too rowdy...shouldn't everyone be getting ready for school tomorrow or something?
I enjoyed your picture show, Pam. Looks like you had as much fun as the kids! You have a lovely looking daughter.
I liked your pumpkin Linda. Very original and far better than anything I could do.
So it looks like Hallow's Eve is over for another year. Tomorrow...November. Now that's really scary!
Way cool Madam Librarian - you're Martha without the empire (or the Jail cell)
What fun! All my kids have long since grown, and we never get trick-or-treaters, so this was so nice to see. We live outside the city limits of Seward, so there is never a knock on our door on Halloween. I miss it!
Next year we should send cyber-Trick-or-Treat messages to all our friends in rural areas!!
Spklatt, come knocking on my cyber door next Halloween, and I'll give you a cup of cyber cider and a cyber cookie!
Cider......yummm! I'll be there.
Shannon
You'd better be in costume, or you don't get a treat!
Oh yeah...hmm. Vat if I joost talk vith a fake aksent? hee hee hee
OK, I can close my eyes and imagine a costume... of course, I might spill some of the cyber cider with my eyes closed!
No, no, I'll dress up! :-)
LOL.Lynn I'm afraid my Marthaesque abilities are somewhat limited to decorating ...... see I forgot to supply my cyber guests with exquisitely made hors d'oeuvres, apple cider/hot chocolate, and cookies!! :O
Yes, and homemade caramel treats that you wrapped yourself in your own homemade paper....
Oh yeh bring that up.....my inner Martha is soooooooooo ashamed!
Whenever I have to bring something to a pot-luck, it's all I can do to squeeze in a stop at the supermarket to pick something up on the way to the gathering.
None of us can live up to the Martha standards....nor should we try, perhaps. ;-)
Trust me...... I haven't made any homemade paper yet! And horrors of horrors my boxes are only labelled with one word "Hallowe'en".
edited to say it goes against my training (not doing detailed labelling).......it must be the rebel comin' out.

OK - it's three weeks late, but for anyone still watching this thread, this little puppetry clip is cute - it takes 5:15 to watch but is worth it in my opinion.
Make sure you continue watching after he's finished with "Lucille" - that's when you get to see "real personality". The puppeteer is very talented.
(be sure to have your speakers on - there's sound!)
