Very pretty. I like her no matter how intense her color is or how drab it can be. She just has class about her.

Thank you both!!! You are both so kind!!!

Any ideas on how much longer before these PB pods ripen?

I have 30-plus pods on various brugs as of today!

Looks like a couple of months maybe. It's hard to tell. I thought mine would be ready weeks ago and they are still hanging on.

Gretchen, winter just slows them right up!

I just love pods. I hate to say it but I go around and stroke them. They are so smooth feeling. Today, I was really looking at mine trying to get a good pic of a ripe one for Shadowgirl and saw this new one. It is all the sweeter for though I pollinated about 10 flowers on this brug, only 1 took. I just love to see what a new brug pods like. All are so different.

Thank you all! Well, I just found out that its supposed to get into the 30's by Wednesday here. I guess I'm just going to cut the stalk below where I air-layerd it and hope for the best. I'm certainly going to be surprised if they stay on her...

Wishing you all the luck from here Gretchen. Our temps should be in the 30's Tuesday night. And I'm still sitting here waiting on boxes from the USPS.....geez, I sure need them to hurry.

Good luck to you too, Brinda! I think this is catching a lot of us off guard!!!
