Monthly update photos

I like to take a few photos every month as a visual reminder of how different a plant or area looks not just from month to month but in the same month the following or previous years. Digital cameras are just about the greatest invention since the computer itself. Now that I have finally figured out (I think) how to get my journal organized the way I want it, I just love being able to append photos to my journal summary page for each month.

I posted this on the photos forum too but didn't know if y'all frequented that forum as well.

I love to take pics of my beds too. I know my neighbors think I'm strange doing it tho. I have had my digital camera for a few months now, but haven't been able to organize an online system for them yet. I loved having the printed pics to put in my photo albums. I can go back and see how my beds went from nothing to full. I eventually plan on having prints made of all my favorites so I an add them to my albums. I've found my pics very useful when needing to know maybe where something is going to pop up in the spring, or how big it was last year etc.

Exactly konkrete. I had some trouble figuring out how to get my online journal here organized the way that I want it but now that I have (at least I think I have LOL), it is so easy to upload those pics to my journal by month that I didn't even bother to print out this latest batch. Saves me a lot of time and ink and I can still refer to them for comparisons whenever I want to.

Some of the pics on this forum make Texas look like it's on the other side of the world from my Ohio Valley :) Fun putzing around here though :) Appreciated your input about state forums, Pville. Hoping the midwest gets a forum if not Ohio alone :) Texas looks wild and beautiful!

Very pretty. My roses are still going strong and most of them do right up until frost. The bougainvilla is still in full bloom also and I have okra and peppers coming outta my ears!

That must be an interesting sight Pville. Bet it causes comment in the grocery store!! LOL
My Martha Gonzales is still providing a great show, and the Bourganvilla is still trying, so are the hibiscus.
