my 125 pound weight loss vegetable soup diet

you all know i love to cook and eat but i only do this on weekends and only after i lost over 125 pounds with a diet i made up by myself with a little help from special 6 day extreme weight loss diet that a friend gave me after she lost 88 pounds.

in order for this diet to work you have to enjoy eating 40 ounces of boiled, repeat boiled vegetables a day for 6 days. you have to drink 100 ounces of water a day and you eat 5 times a day. but most important you have to be really over weight and have made the decision that its time to get serious with a diet. if you are still interested, heres how it works

i will list the meals i ate and the times i ate them.

breakfast - 7 a.m.
4 ounces of boiled chicken with 1/2 grapefruit

mid morning - 10 a.m.
4 ounces poached fish and 8 ounces of boiled spinich

lunch - 1 p.m.
4 ounces of poached fish with 8 ounces boiled stringbeans

mid afternoon - 3:30
4 ounces boiled chicken with 8 ounces of boiled carrots

dinner 6;30 p.m.
4 ounces poached fish and 8 ounces boiled spinich

remember to drink 100 ounces of water each and every day.
you are to use no salt whatsoever during this period. all vegetables must be fresh. not frozen or canned (check out sodium levels on these things)

the purpose of this six day diet is for you to take in extremly low amounts of fat thereby reducing your calorie intake. the chicken and fish are for protein. for six days your body will burn the fat you have stored in your body for enegy and thereby burning more calories. you can only do this for 6 days because after six days your body will think that its starving and will be begin to store whatever you eat as fat.

i lost 15 pounds after 6 days on this diet.

after six days i used my vegetable soup dies to continue losing weight. i have averaged about 2 pounds a week for over two years.

i make the soup using fresh vegetables such as spinish, squash, mushrooms, stringbeans, onions and garlic.

i make a large pot of soup on sunday and me and my dw eat it all week long along with four ounces of either fish, chicken, shrimp, pork or beef which we cook using no oil, only pam for frying or grilling and of course boiling and which we add seperately to the soup each time we eat it.

recipe for vegetable soup
12 ounces of fresh baby spinich
4 green or yellow squash cut into 1/2 inch slices
16 ounces of sliced fresh mushrooms
1 very large onion, chopped
4 carotts, cut into 1/2 inch slices
4 stalks celery cut into 1/2 inch slices
1 28 ounce can of tomatoe sauce
white wine
2 garlic cloves sliced
pam for spraying

in a large pot over medium heat
add the onions and spray with pam and stir until onions just begin to brown
add carrots and celery and stir. add enough wine just to cover the vegetables. cook uncovered for 3 minutes then add about 2 cups of water. cover and cook until the carrots begin to soften.
add the can of tomatoe sauce, garlic, mushrooms, and squash. cover and cook about 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
slowly add the spinch a little at a time until you have it all in the soup

reduce heat to a simmer and cook another few minutes or until all the vegetable are cooked.
at this time you can check to see if your would like to add more water to make the soup thinner.

to make our meals, i use a large laddle to spoon the soup into bowls then i add the 4 ounces of already cooked fish, shrimp, beef, chicken or pork. you can add some hot sauce it you wish.

i eat this five days a week. on weekends i have whatever i want only i try to limit my portions. i still stay away from added salt and i still drink the 100 ounces of water. after the weekend i got right back to the soup diet.

i started this diet weighing 375 pounds a little over two years ago. i am now down to 250.
i feel so good going to a regular store instead of the big mens shop to buy clothes. while i was in maryland i bought a leather jacket and a bunch of new clothes, (i shoujld say my dw bought the clothes cause she says i have no tasted when it comes to that. lol)

the bottom line is that at 61 years of age my blood pressure is 114 over 68, my cholestrol is 130
my blood pressure is great and i feel good when ever i look in the mirrow.

i forgot to add the rest of the diet --

breakfast 5 days a week consist of --
4 egg whites which i fry in a pan using pam (i buy the egg whites in the container size)
and 1 cup of either oatmeal or oat bran hot cereal. both the oatmeal and oat bran are the kind you have to cook in wather for a few minutes. not the prepared oatmeal.

i also take to work for lunch one laddle of the soup with 4 ounces of either chicken or fish

i still eat my breakfast at 7 a.m. and my lunch at 10:30
at 2 p.m. i have a piece of fruit, any kind and then i come home and eat dinner

well thats my diet and it really works. i also do different exercies 4 times a week.
