First frost due this coming week.
Had to get this bed dug along the driveway so the new neighbor could roof and not kill all my plants.
Boy these guys don't mess around.
Just been busy.
They have almost tore it off in a couple hours.

What a mess. I remember going through this here and having to pick up nails for years. Even after dragging a magnet all over the place, the nails kept appearing.
Geez, they dropped it all in your yard? Smart move emptying your beds.
wondered where you were. There's so much to do before frost and I still have so much to do. It is a beautiful day today and I'm working on it now. (just came in to check on my pot of black bean soup). Still have these to deal with . . .

It's always easier to tear down something than build it. I hope they take the responsibility to clean that mess up. It's the least they can do after you've been so nice.

When I had new roof installed earlier this year, they had old one off and new one on in less than 1/2 day. Hoping that it was a very good crew that man had..actually he had 2 crews here since one of the jobs that they were suppose to be doing got tied up for some reason.
I was at work that day but DH was here to supervise..LOL

Gosh! I also hope they clean it up... and maybe add some mulch while they are down there cleaning. Im sure it will be well worth it in the end.

What a mess. We had our roof redone this year and there was no mess at all. They had a big dumpster in the driveway and brought all the old roof to it and dumped it right off the roof right into it.
Glad to see you back. That looks like a steep roof and no roof jacks. I think thats what there called.

Oh my, what a mess they made in your yard and it is not even your roof. You would think that they would have had a container to throw the old roof in instead of throwing it in your yard. It is good to know that it is all cleaned up now. I hope your days get less hectic now and that you can relax a little and visit more often. Are all your plants put away for the winter now? Your yard was beautiful this summer and all your hard work and dedication showed. I know you must miss it but it next summer it will lovely again.

I'm glad it is over with. There will be nails everywhere. I guess it is time for you to put your babies inside.I'm glad to see you are back with us. I do think they could have been more careful of the neighbor's yard! Thank goodness it is over with! Enjoy the winter!!
