End of Daylight Savings Time

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

....is tonight, for everyone except Pam in Saskatchewan! :-)

I'm so glad this happens in the middle of the weekend; it always takes about a day to get back on track. MMmmmm, an extra hour of sleep....or surfing DG!...lol

Hope everyone's having a good weekend,
Shannon

Ah the time of year when we all draw closer together. :)

Thanks for the reminder. I was just checking DG before turning off the computer and heading to bed to watch TV and totally forgot about turning the clocks back. I hope the dog gets used to the new time quick, she gets us up at 7 Am now, so that's 6 new time, maybe my partner will be the one to take the dog out in the morning....

This could work out to your benefit, Linda!

Pam, I have family in Saskatoon and I always look forward to our clocks going back so that there's only 1 hr of difference instead of two...much easier for phone calls. It's funny, though, to think that at the moment, North Battleford and Quebec City are only 1 hour apart - over 3500 km on the map!

Good Morning, guess who's up with the dog... and guess who's still snoring in bed...

I guess there is something to be said about routine.

I KNEW I FORGOT SOMETHING????????????

Interesting....the DG clock still looks like it's an hour ahead. Hmmm.

You prolly have the wrong time chosen in your preferences.

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

A-HA! I didn't know we had to manually change that ourselves...thanks, Pam. I'm back on track now.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

You don't.....you must have chosen the wrong one when you joined.

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

Not sure....I chose Eastern Daylight Time, because I joined in August and that's what we were in. Now we're in Eastern Standard Time.

Elaine & Linda, did you have to change your time zone on DG today?

Victoria, BC(Zone 8b)

I don't remember, but the time is always one hour behind me, ie it's Alberta time and not BC time.

edited after I checked the post. the time is right on now. Maybe when we spring ahead, it'll be back the way it was.

Holy moly!!!!!!!!! Did I CHANGE the TIME yesterday???????? I have collected Retro clocks of all sorts and..........can you just picture me standing on a chair in my kitchen, resetting them all! I was up at quarter to six, before I started this process...at 3 in the afternoon, I was napping with Rosey, my kitty on the sofa........my hubby handed out the Hallowe'en goodies, ......would you believe, 93 kids! Yesterday seemed like Monday! E
