Violabird, HURRY....catch a train or a plane!!!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

I know you love fragrance! Oh my....all you have to do is open the patio door and there is such a strong brug fragrance. LOL...what a wonderful brug-high! Here is L'Amour once again showing off. Blooming right now in my backyard is......Marrakesch, Rosabelle, Antique Lace, L'Amour, Jessie Noel and Rosamond. They all smell wonderful and Marrakesch has a strong musky smell. I think JN has the strongest scent tonight.

Pretty picture. Keep em coming. I'm brug bloom deprived now, ya know!! LOL!

LOL Shirley! I will be deprived in a few weeks I'm sure! I've been out back snapping pics. I'm filling up my puter as we speak! LOL

Oh Good!! It will be a long winter without pictures to keep us going.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Glad you have blooms. L'Amour is a bloomin' fool, seems to be blooming here all the time. I am waiting on about 10 good ones, to bloom before frost!
Going so s-l-o-w!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

You better watch out Brinda, we all will catch that plane!

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Oh Brinda, shame on you, lol! I'm flapping my arms right now ;>}
Thanks for thinking of me, you are sure right! Do you have a favorite one for scent? I think mine is KBS, it will be blooming again shortly, and I might actually see an uneaten Becca for once. Let's see your Jesse Noel! I'd love to hear more of your opinions on them, hardly anyone talks scents!

And, if I can't smell them, I still like to look at them, so keep on posting please :)

LOL Kell. I love walking out the door and smelling brugs in the air.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

LOL....I wish everyone was here tonight to smell them with me. Since the time changed I will have an extra hour to sniff! LOL

Vi.....I really don't know which I like best. I think JN and L'Am are very close.....and on different nights they have heavier fragrance. Who knows why? And now Rosamond is blooming and she's adding to it too. She smells heavenly just like the others. I will have to get my 10 yr old out there to sniff for me. He has a better nose! LOL

I really want a L'Amour, I've never seen one but the photos are beautiful. Will they take the heat, do they do well in the heat and are they bug magnets????

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

What a gorgeous Brug you have!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

heat doesn't bother them except a little bud dropping and no bugs at all for me. All my L'A cuttings rotted so I don't have any to share. The hard wood makes a hole in the middle of the stem and the water rots them. Didn't have any problems with the green stems I did in summer.
