Please tell me again the ratio of Avid to water. I need to spray before I bring them in cause I think a few might have the mites.
Thanks,
Brenda
Brug experts - please help
1/4 tsp per gallon. If you have an active mite infestation you will have to spray again in 7 to 10 days to wipe out any survivors that may have hatched from eggs.
Brenda, my bottle says 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water. If you don't have a bad infestation, I would only use 1/4 teaspoon.
Did I tell you lately that I hate mites?
Me too! Just when they are ready to bloom, they show up.
I am no expert. I find it so toxic, I have diluted it to 1/4 teaspoon to 3 gallons and it still works fine for me. I am sure results very due to climate. Joelle

Im gonna have to look into getting some I think.
When spraying for Spider Mites, the dosis recommended should be used and never be diluted because of the spider mites capability to become resistent to insecticides. They inherit this trait to their offspring and this is one of the reasons, why many of the older akarizides dont help anymore.
Thanks so much everyone. I plan to do this today and hopefully the weather will hold to do again in a week.
IMCANADIAN, how did you find it so toxic? What did it do?
