This is a favorite of mine. I've tried a lot of meatball recipes and this is tops. Ladyanne, you are welcome to this one.
Mama's Meatballs
4 1/2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
2 eggs
1 Tblsp Garlic Salt
2 Tblsp Italian Seasonng
3 C Italian bread crumbs
1 cup Romano Cheese
Combine all ingredients except the cheese. The mixture will be very dry (this is good, as the crumbs will absorb any fats in the sauce). Mix well. Add the cheese. Form meatballs and saute all sides until just brown. Drop in the sauce you are making. This recipe will make 24 large meatballs.
