First Seedling Bloom

(Zone 5a)

A friend of mine shared this one with me this summer, I didn't think it would have time to bloom before winter but what a happy surprise to find this bloom the other day.

Do you know the name of this one. I love them all whether I know the name or not, I guess. LOL!

Shelly I don't know, I have a cold and can't smell anything :{

Brugie my little stray kittens has moved and even broken the markers, so I have no idea.....brats kitties! I was hoping that someone here would know it's name.

Thanks Shirley but it was my first seedling bloom. I have Jean Pasco and a double white that is still blooming but this is the very first seeding I've ever had and the fact that it bloomed just thrilled me.

So this one was grown from a seed by you? Or did your friend give you a cutting and not a seed?

If a seedling it has no name until you name him. Maybe someone could hazard a guess as to its parents but that would be tough.

I do not know when a seedling ceases to be seedling, but I would think at 1 year old or once it gives cuttings esp if the cuttings has bloomed. I made all that up, LOL. I have no clue.
