Our local newspaper did an article on my greenhouse last month. The reporter had never heard of a hoya. Thanks to the article, more people will now know about hoyas!!

Awanda...that is so peaceful looking it is the best sell for getting a greenhouse I have seen yet. What a wonderful idea too to make people more aware of these great plants.

It was funny to see the look on the reporters face. She is originally from Indiana, so it was a big suprise to her, to see all the green, healthy plants in a greenhouse in Arizona.
She stayed about 45 minutes talking about plants and asking loads of questions. I've noticed that non plant people call taking care of plants "a lot of work", but for us plant-addicts it's fun and enjoyable. Thanks for the compliments and yes I do have a wonderful hubby who while he doesn't understand my passion for plants, does support me. I am truly blessed:-)

I had the honor of getting a picture hot off the press from Awanda, I was so excited. This is the second person I know who had pictures taken of their garden of Hoya by the press. Did any one else that we don't know of. Norma

I also had an article written on my garden over the summer. It had a nice photo of my blooming H. imperialis and an orchid or 2. It was quite an honor!

My thoughts exactly July 21st is a great day for a birthday!!! Meltn make a xerox copy and mail it to me my address is in the address finder here at DG I can scan it and email it back to you if you want. Don't count me out Awanda my BIL lives in Gilbert so we pop out there sometimes maybe we could get Jo to take a hike north and meet us too.
