That is really pretty. I have seeds for that and I think it's labeled Cream & Sugar.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Pretty datura.

Taylor Creek, FL(Zone 10a)

Thank you, I will have plenty of seeds too. I also have a Devils trumpet near by will that affect the seeds? Where can I find the basics on cultivating these? Sidney

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

I wouldn't call it "ordinary"! I think it's a beautiful double light yellow Datura!

Try running a search on Goggle for cultivating these beauties.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Such pretty skirts on your Datura! Congratulations on the bloom.

Mirpur (A.K), Pakistan(Zone 9b)

Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I bet this address has some good info though I have never looked under datura there.

I think yours is just lovely. I would love to see some hybridze datura for some really different ones.

Last year or was it 2 years ago, a member had a variegated datura that was just absolutley stunning! Just breathtaking.

Kell, I have this one blooming too, should I try a cross pollination?

They are both beautiful!!! Wow, you are off to a great start!! Is the Datura smell similar to brugs???

Taylor Creek, FL(Zone 10a)

Sherry, I rush drank an smoothie about 2 months ago on a hot day. It froze the back roof of my mouth and was extremly painful. Since then I can't smell worth 2 cents, so I dont know. Thanks. This is why I moved to North Florida, so I can grow and grow. I got rid of huge azealas because they take alot of room and only bloom 2-3 weeks.

Sugarweed -- maybe Tonny will come along here and answer your question about cross pollination, but I'm not sure if that will work since these are self pollinating flowers. But hey -- what do I know? Not much LOL! Guess anything is worth a try.....Gretchen

Taylor Creek, FL(Zone 10a)

Gretchen, well I have what looks might be a triple Sugar and Cream about to open, so I went in there with a q-tip, spun it around and did a spin in the 2 open double Devils trumpets already open, then went back to the S & C. I'll love to see what happens next.

Taylor Creek, FL(Zone 10a)

Kell, yep the Brug/Dat?Society site has it all. I'm totally facinated. Thanks again. Now I've gotta get back to it to see if I did the right thing in my 5:17 post.
Wel, it was close enough, now to round up ribbons tags and I hope I didn't throw that sack of stockings away. Thanks again.
