A year ago, summer of 2003 I fell in love with brugmansia! I had so many wonderful visions in my head of these beauties blooming. And now I feel as if I've arrived! LOL I've seen blooms throughout the summer, but not huge flushes. Now my Jessie Noel has more than 40 blooms. I just love it, and my backyard smells just wonderful. Here are a few pics tonight.....

Very pretty Brinda, I am still impatiently waiting for most of my brugs. to open up. I am beginning to think they won't make it.
Gosh Brin, she really is a pretty plant. Mine was broken off in the wind this summer so I didn't get to see it bloom this year.
Yes Kell, Braden is a ham! And the older he gets, the worse it gets! LOL But he does love to stick his face in a brug bloom. He is the only one of my kids that knows the name of 'every' plant. LOL
Patricia, I do hope you get to see them all bloom. I know how that anticipation is.
Shirley, I do hope you see many blooms next summer. JN has really made me love her. I'm not much on yellows but she has stolen my heart. She is the biggest brug I have (other than what is in the ground) and has such pretty form. We are supposed to be in the low 40's next week and I'm really dreading it. And I've waited all summer for Rosebelle to bloom. I really think this brug hates me. It has looked just terrible all summer. And now that the temps are lower she has taken off and has a few blooms getting ready to open. Yipeeeee LOL

OOPS, brain freeze...... I don't have JN, I have Becca Lynn. She was the one that was broken off. Sorry. Still, this is a gorgous plant.
Oh Patrica, I have a terrible feeling we are in for a cold winter. I do not know what I will do if we have a prolonged freeze.
Brinda, how lucky to have a child that shares your interest. My kid runs the other way!

Brin, my only picture was of her long trunks sitting in water in a garbage can. By the time she bloomed, she didn't have many, if any leaves left on her.
