A very dark red

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I wish I could show you how dark this really is but my camera just won't cooperate. I can't remember what the name of this hibiscus is, but it's soooooo dark red it's almost black. The leaves are dark burgundy too. They look faded in this pic, but the color is off. (I dropped the camera on a tile floor while I was working and it's not worked right since)

CC, it's got burgundy leaves too. I am 99% sure I got them from Barb in MS(y'all know how bad my memory is, lol). Each flower just lasts one day, but there seems to be new ones each day. The buds are almost black before they open!

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

I grow this one each year by seed. It's Hibiscus acetosella. Mine never do flower, it's beautiful Susie.
I'm getting ready to cut all of mine down if anyone wants some for postage. It roots VERY easy.
