This is my 3rd year of overwintering tropicals (I'm sure most of you remember our greenhouse project!). I am happy to report that I have many NEW clients this year, and yesterday picked up a corporate client. A restaurant wants me to take care of 16 palm trees for the winter, and said if they do well he wants it to be an annual deal. (doing happy dance....if HE is happy, perhaps he will recommend me to others). All this brings on a welcome dilemma...I am going to be full this year, so perhaps we will have to finish off some of the rest of the building for next year. Either that or I will have to get rid of some of MY plants.........nahhhhhhh................Now, if I could just get my tropical plant rental for special occasions going as good as this venture, I'd be ecstatic! I know i haven't posted much here, so much going on in my life lately, but everyone here was so supportive and encouraging, I just had to let you all in on the good news. Thanks for being here for me when I needed it!
For all who encouraged my greenhouse venture
Gosh Anna! This sounds wonderful! You are big time now! Congratulations.
Great news Anna. I'm doing a 'happy dance' with you.
Have you thought about contacting caterers or wedding planners to let them know what types of large plants you have that they might want to have at their functions?
You will have to post ppictures of it being full! I remember the pictures when you were building it.
Congrats Anna. Kell is right....we will need pictures. I'll bet it looks so cool in there with all the tropicals at their best.
