Mincemeat Pie - Help Me Tone Down Store Bought Filling

We love Mincemeat Pie but find the flavor of the store bought pie fillings just too strong. I normally take a one quart jar of filling and add a can of apple pie filling plus raisins which makes a nice full 9" double crust pie.

Does anyone have some other suggestions, other than homemade???
