Does anyone know if you can grow Monarda in So California? All the websites I have found so far cover Monarda (Violet Queen and Jacob Cline) farther East. I have planted these plants a week ago. I bought them from out of state and I would really like to see if they grow!! Thanks, Chuck

I don't see why you couldn't..? We grow them here in Texas just fine. This is the first year mine bloomed. I am going to try and move it to the back of my bed tho since they only bloom in the spring. Otherwise it just sat there blocking the view of other flowers. I inspected it yesterday and found lots of little rooted branches that I can transplant. Good luck!
