Here's a few pics of my large terrarium that I set up with some of the nice plants I recieved from Keyring a while back. It's my first real attempt at a terrarium so please keep that in mind..lol
They are not real easy to photo either...lol
Let me know what you think.
Hope ya enjoy!
Terrarium pics....
Critter,
It is really cute with all the little plants and the little girl.
Thanks Honibee!
I like it a lot.
The little girl is a keepsake given to me by my daughter when she was very little. The little rabbits are a keepsake from my darling hubby.
The sign was a gift from a friend.
I have a few smaller ones, too.
MsC
LOL! The speech bubble is cute!
It looks really nice. The smaller one you posted in the other thread too.
I think I might get the tiny ones I owe you in the mail on Sat. (The clock is ticking on another package I need to get out, so the chances are good.)
Hiya Ki,
Oh good, you did get to see the pics...
I have really enjoyed the plants you sent and am addicted now to yet more plant species..lol
I will get your package off on Mon -Tues... you might want to rent the apartment next door for the space...lol.
**Question about the Chirta..it now has seed pods....what to do? Clip em off and set them up in a seed tray or will they do ok in the terrarium?
(Keep in mind my lack of seed growing abilities..lol)
I would leave the seed pods as they are and see what happens. I grow those chiritas without a terrarium and so far every single seed pod has aborted. If it develops, you want to pull it out before it scatters seeds everywhere, or I guarantee you will have at least 500 lil chiritas in your terr. Seed growing abilities have nothing to do with this one. LOL
That looks wonderful MsC! Love the little keepsakes. Makes it so personal.
I thought I posted these photos of the small " Angel in a Jar".. yesterday but I guess it didn't send it... it has small ferns , a baby begonia and Micro Mini AV... it is a little more grown in now and looks great. EASY way to keep 'em.
Just thought it might give you all some different ideas of how to use them even in tricky situations like my house that seem to stay cold & draft....
See if you like this one too..it is one of my favorites..:)

You did post it, lol, but on another thread. I forget which one it was.
I think I have a piece of codonanthe I can send you too.
Agghhh I wish I could get my digicam working again. I have some things blooming that I wanted to post, like the AV Neptune's Jewel, Columnea Early Bird and Lava Flow, and some other little things.....
I think its beautiful!
Thanks Shelly,
I like the terrarium set ups a lot...I don't have to fuss with them too much . Once they are done you just check on them everynow & then for water & trimming.
******** Sorry about the double pic post Angel N Jar****************
Ok, so my age is showing..CRS
That's what happens when you get interrupted in the middle of doing something....it was just one of those days...
I found where I posted it...sorry to subject you guys to my pics twice...lol
MsC
Beautiful plants and nice set up.
MsC your terrariums are wonderful ! I've never done this before. Your's are so great maybe I'll try someday ! How are they doing now. Do the plants grow well insdie the terrarium ? Do you have any updated pictures of how they are doing and have the plants been blooming and growing ? Very interesting ! Allison
