Thanks! I've gotten several people asking me 'when are the seeds ready' , so I thought I would post something so folks could see what they look like when they're ready . .. They do take a WHILE! I tagged one recently and am timing from bloom to ripe seed to see just how long it takes . . .

This year, I planted them on 3/23 - they were up on 3/29

Last year, I planted thme on 6/29, they started blooming on 8/30 and I started getting seeds on 10/8 - it takes a LONG TIME. That's why I planted earlier this year, as I lost seeds last year to the freezes.
