Hughesville, MO(Zone 5a)

With so many of us now using our computer I don't get here much. Our friends will be here until the first part of November as far as I know. We're taking their van to her brother in Concordia so he can fix the brake line that was torn with the blown when the tire blew on the way here yesterday. Jack is no condition to do the work since his eye surgery last Thursday. He had a detached retina. I spent 1/2 of every day except Tuesday in Columbia last week. Tuesday I was in Sedalia for 1/2 of the day.

Still holding in the lower 150s even after all the bad eating, so-so eating, etc. last week. One of my employers made pecan pie and I just had to see if it was fit to serve. LOL. Probably my favorite pie.

I did go out and buy myself some smaller size pants for work after church last night. These are size 14 and are still a tiny bit loose but 12s were a touch to tight to make me feel comfortable in them. I have several tops to go with these pants but did buy a couple new clearance rack tops too, They just took my eye. In fact, one of them has been on my mind for some time, I was just waiting for it to go on sale.

I think I'll go lie down for awhile. I'm battling fibrofog today and feel miserable. I've managed to get some chores done, but not many. In a couple hours I'll likely be on my way to my friend's brother's home with the vans.

Wednesday we have an appointment with Jack's eye surgeon for post surgery exam, then I work that afternoon. When I get off my friends and I will head for their home in Kirksville where we will pack as much as possible in the van, she will take the 2 boys to the dentist, etc. We' ll spend the night there, come back on Thursday and put the boxes in the attic. They have to go back on the 2nd, then will move to this area the 10th. All this schedule hangs on a job interview the mother had this morning for a job she really needs.

Anna, how did the competition go this weekend? Great I hope.

GOD bless and keep each of you. Keep up the good work everyone, I'm praying for all of you to reach the goals you have set and that GOD knows is the best weight for you personally.
