I saw this brug in Longwood Gardens conservatory last month.
Believe Kyle's Milk n Honey. One of my oldest and fav brugs (o:
I photographed to send to Kyle so he could see one of his brugs growing in high places (o:
Finally a chance today to download pix, I notice what the sign reads. HA
Milk to Honey brug at Longwood ..I think Kyle's?? ..lol
That does say Milk to Honey. LOL! That poor brug has been called a lot of things. Pretty picture.
pphil ..
That Grimaldi is NOT an all I saw ..LOL
What a great place to visit ..yes?
I went this time to see and talk cannas ..which are GREAT at Longwood!
But happy to see brugs there, too.
Last year I was to Missouri Botanical Gardens.
Again, went for cannas, but saw brugs there, too.
Wound up IDing some for them.
But it is great seeing brugs used like this where not in the past colder climates.
I will be doing a different planting at the glasshouse next summer.
Big brugs will definitely be part.
Already know I will get alot of questions for sure (o:
Alice, years back a grower at Longwood gardens wanted to showcase and introduce some of my brugs.I declined because they wanted to put them on the market with THEIR approval not mine. Glad to see they have at least one of them! LOL Too bad they got the name wrong!! :-) I also sent a hybrid "Freda Oppe" to the collection at Missouri Botanical garden.Don't know whatever happened to it though. Thanks for thinking of me with your pics! ((HUG))
Oh darn! I missed you speaking at Longwood Gardens!! Next time, please let us know when you give a talk on Brugs, Cannas, etc. DG'ers will show up in record numbers!!
