I had been thinking of getting Raindrop a friend since his bunny buddy was euthanized a couple years ago. He seemed to be so alone without having a friend to be with.
I found a purebred angora baby for free on the freecycle forum on yahoogroups. They allow you to offer pets but you are responsible for screening potential adopters.
He is a cute tiny thing of only four weeks the minimum age for weaning. The man said he was eating on his own. I had pick of the litter because I was the first of those chosen to meet with him. Never had a bunny this young before and he is as cute as a button.
Jackson the kitten found him irresistable too! LOL The newness has worn off and he is being ingored by the cats now.
