CLOSED: Variegated Spider plant seeds for trade or SASBE

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6a)

I have collected a few seeds from my variegated Spider plant (Chlorophytum comosum) and if anyone would like some, please let me know. I've never collected them before so I don't know about their viability, but I've got enough for a few people to have enough to experiment.

Let me know,
Mary Ev.

I had never seen them before either!!!!

At the end of each branch (where I'm accustomed to seeing a baby) instead there are little seed pods. I wish I had a digital camera but I don't :( Anyway, there's quite a few little pods and seeds just keep falling out and all over!

It's kind of cool :)

I would love to try some. What would you like in trade?

HoniBee, I sent you a private message, did you get it? Just wanted to check and make sure you didn't change your mind before I put the seeds away for the season. Do you still want some?

I would love some, for my hanging baskets I put out in the spring. Will they take part sun? It is a covered porch and get morning and early afternoo sun on opposite ends. I would like to try and start them this winter inside and hopefully have them ready for spring..Thanks LMK

Here are some seed pods. Hope that helps as far as where they are on the plant.

I would love to send a SASE for some of these seeds! Thank you for sharing for those of us who are still establishing our gardens! I am very new to it and find it very relaxing!
Thank you again, April
