Ready to share all their long awaited and much anticipated secrets with their maker.
A story of a seedling first bloom.
Do any of the flowers open up all the way, I can't tell? Gets some pretty good color, nice tendrils.
The size of the calyx is gorgeous. I am sure, that next summer, the flower will emerge.
Beautiful! If you don't want it, I'm sure we all here would like to have it.
You are so enthusiatic Gloria. You must have tons of hot pinks of your own. Fess up. Lets see some pics!! LOL
I sent you some seeds that will get you some great pinks if what I have gotten are any reflection! In fact, I sent out tons of crosses in the summer that should get all the recipients some nice pinks just like all of mine and a few got some seeds that have made the triple torti and triple peach! I held no seeds out!
I have a few others I will post as I get my pics sorted.
Sort and post away Kell!!! LOL I love your story! I do love the size of the calyx and it sure makes me wonder what it will look like next summer.
I have some of your seeds that I'm going to sew around Thanksgiving! I'm so excited about them and I will be drooling everywhere if I get some pinks like you have. Yipppeeeee! Oh the anticipation!!!!!
Kell, I'm jealous. It is beautiful and so pink it is almost red. Hope you keep it and if not...you know where you can send it. LOL!
Keep it over, Kell.
Wow! The color is great! And I love that calyx! And the tendrils too!! LOL I love this bloom! I also hope it opens nice for you come next year!
Very pretty kell
Just checking ... I do love the looks of it, is it getting any darker?
I would also like to see some of my hot pinks from seed, but gee, how fast do you think seedlings grow in Ohio? TIA Kell!
Anymore seeds, Kell?
Gee, thanks. I am going to go down today and see what it looks like. Yesterday it was raining so I didn't get to go.
Sylvia, I probably will have but let me finish sending out the seeds I promised. I have lots more to go.
Gloria, you must have some from your own crosses. I just know you have a brug farm there in Ohio!! I know you have great brugs. I bet one day you publish a book full of brug pictures and we all will be blown away!
Will do Kell.....publish a brug book. Ha!
kell how could you get rid of it, BUT if you do i think you should have a drawing for it. and put my name on the top *S*
Wait one more season. Yu got plenty of room!! LOL
How big is that bloom? We will all find you more room for that kind.
It is a gorgeous pink Kell. I am still hoping for one pick bloom this year.
Beautiful Kell!!
Kell posted: The flowers are so pink!
Forgive me, Kell, I think the flowers are scarlet, or very close and they are dripping with pretty!!!
It is a very big one Hibiscus!!
