Brazilian Plume, Flamingo Flower, Jacobinia, Pine-Bur Begonia (Justicia carnea)
that is lovely
I think so - I have the white and the pink and they are really pretty when they're all in bloom! I think they look like fireworks, myself!
Thanks!
Onalee
that looks great!
The don't appear to get seeds - at least I can't find them! They root REALLY easily though, so if you can find someone near you with one you can just get a small piece and it will root . . . In the walmart down here they sold the pink ones last year and you could tell they were just rooted cuttings of the tops where the blooms come - they were only about 4" tall!
Brugie - that IS really pretty! These are the neatest flowers!
Thanks. It's a lot prettier in person. All Justicia are pretty. This one is harder to root though.
Brugie you mean that blooms OK in your zone, arn't you colder than me, if so I better look for some, it is lovely
Sure, they all bloom here. It just means that they have to be held over in the house for the winter months.
