Friday, October 23 - Daily Support - How's everyone doing?

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

Well, progress for the week:

Not enough water - I need to take a larger water bottle into work
Forgot vitamins about half of the time - oops, as I typed this I remembered that I forgot again and just took one :)
Daily tuna and chef salad - yeahhhhhhhhhhhh! Ok, I succeeded at one thing!
Signed up at the gym - make that two things. (Still haven't gone yet - going tomorrow for a good workout)

Progress - down two pounds. Sure, they're the honeymoon pounds - but, I'm not complaining - considering that I went out to eat three times this week and had wine a few times, too. And a few of the Lindt truffles that drop was supposed to eat instead of me.

Most important, my headset is in the right space - I'm eating the right things for the most part, ready to start exercising and just feel optimistic. It'll be tough next week - three days in Versailles, but I am hoping to rent a bicycle and focus on traveling around the city, visit the palace, etc. - and try not to focus on eating. One of the things that worries me is that the travel is already starting to ramp up again. Maybe it's carrot sticks, not sure what I'll do to have the right snacks so at the very least I don't totally bomb out with sweets.

An outside possibiliity, although not the lightest way to travel is to take the tuna with me and make sure I have a light breakfast, tuna for lunch and then enjoy an evening meal in moderation.
