Here is another one I may have to say good bye to!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

The reason it is so hard is that I remember how I wanted this one when I first saw it. I was desperate for it. But I really gain no pleasure from it.

Yuk, as my little granddaughter would say "I hate them brug, it's ugly". LOL

My daughter says she is saying that about a lot of things lately. She took her to the zoo the other day, and that's what she said about the snakes.

we would love to have it if it needs a home.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

I grew this one last year and it was one of my favorites. It bloomed all summer. I guess it was because it was so differnt that I loved it. I would sure love to see one like it in pink. Hmmmmm maybe I will have to start working on that.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Patricia -- I think that MaryinLa has a pink one, but I could've dreamed that...

I personally like the more traditional trumpet and funnel shaped blooms. But, I have yet to see one of these in person, so I guess I could be swayed...it certainly is exotic looking!

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

I have a shredded from seed this year. ha
Interesting that happened (o:

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

I like the unusual too so I really like it and if it is fragrant I would love it.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

This one is very fragrant, but it is messy when it drops its blooms. Very messy, especially when the plant is loaded with them.

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

KELL THROW IT THIS DIRECTION PLEASE

Mc Call Creek, MS

This is one of my favorites....because it is different, and because it blooms non-stop, and because it smells so wonderful.

I've tried and tried to cross it with a pink but no successs so far.

I guess "whatever floats your boat" is different from one person to another! LOL

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Well, ain't that a weird one, what's it's name? I've never seen it before now.

kind of neat looking in a strange way LOL

Kell, if it needs a home, I would love to have it (or a piece of it). LindaSC

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Shredded White is what it is normally called. There is another one called Fantasma, but the place that I bought it said it is just another name for Shredded White.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

is that normal for the shredded white to do that, thus the name ha? shredded LOL I have a shredded white and have seen pics of it, from other folks, and it didn't look like this one, just wondering

Hi everyone!
I'm new here, but figured I'd add my 2 cents. I love my Shredded White!! It actually came to me labeled "Fastasma" and it seems there was a site I found somewhere that explained the difference between the 2, but now there's talk of them being the same, and I can't find that site. (darn!) I think I'm in the minority though, when it comes to liking this variety. I like it so much, last spring I shared a piece with a very close friend. When it bloomed for her, she gave it back! LOL My tastes do tend to lean toward the unusual also, so that probably explains my feelings.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Mine had three different types of blooms this year. It had a single with a split side, a weird looking double and the shredded. I took pictures but I can't fine which CD I saved it on.

Kingston, GA(Zone 7b)

I Love it!! But then again I always did like the unusual. Does it look the same in person as it does in the pic? How big do the blooms get? I have heard of Shredded White but never seen a pic of it. I never dreamed it had a different type bloom than the trumpet form.

Memphis, TN(Zone 8a)

Countrybumpkin, mine looks exactly the same as the pic Kell posted. I've never had any variation in the flowers, other than the blooms in the early spring, that sometimes don't open all the way, so they don't hang down as much.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

I'm with Kay. It blooms non stop and smells wonderful

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Unless something changes I vote ugly.

You know how sometime things are so ugly they are cute, well not this.
I guess I could change my mind. I bet DH would like this one because it is so different.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

I would love a cutting if there are any out there to spare. LindaSC

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I have one somewhere, but the nametag got lost and it's never bloomed. When it does, I will give it away, because I don't care for it at all. I like unusual flowers, but not when they are ugly. This looks like a flower out of a scary movie. Sorry, ladies.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Kind of reminds me of a handkerchief (or a bunch of tissues). I tend to like the unusual.

New Hyde Park, NY(Zone 7a)

I kinda like it Kell, I thought it was pretty. Maybe i'm just strange... Any spare cuttings?
