In search of a Spirograph?

Arnett, WV(Zone 5b)

Does anyone have one of these? My brother who is handicapped does some wood working. I got him a new woodworking book for his birthday last month and it has a carving technique that he wants to try. I looked at the drawings and I believe he can make the patterns with a Spirograph. I will trade plants, pay postage or work out something out if any one has one that they can spare.

Does it need to be one of the small ones? I think I may have a young childs version (My First Spirograph) around here somewhere. If it would do, I will go looking.

Going to go search. It is iffy. I Remember unearthing it but do not recall if it went out in the last girl scout drive or not.

You should be able to "make" a spirograph by cutting a circle from wood and putting holes at measured intervals (make sure the hold is large enough for pen or pencil). Use a round frame made of heavy cardboard or some such. This may work better if he wants to to a larger area to start.
