Hollyhock/poppy seed for SASE

Marysville, WA(Zone 7a)

Wow, reading the 45 responses to abiene's 'need advice on what to do', has emboldened me to try trading again.I have a fair supply of pink, lavender, magenta, purple and yellow hollyhock as well as a big tub of the aforementioned colors all mixed together. Also still have some poppies.Mostly somniferum, some atlas, some mixed.Rules are as follow: 1.tell me what you want. 2.send a sase with postage if you can.(no phone calls please) 3.put your return address somewhere I can find it.I can do this for the sheer enjoyment of sharing my garden with someone else who likes gardening. If I have to absorb some of the cost, that's fine, I'll just miss a Starbuck's latte or mocha now and then.I'm more than happy to accomodate as many as possible, hopefully as many as ask.

I would be very interested in some poppies & hollyhocks if I'm not too late. I will have to send you a U.S. dollar for postage with my bubble mailer as I can't buy American stamps here. Hope that's okay. Thanks so much for your offer. You have mail.

If you still have some, I would be very grateful for hollyhock especially, but would try some poppies also. Thanks.

Hi, I'm sure I'm too late, but I'd LOVE some poppies. I have always wanted to grow them. If you do have some left, please let me know and I'll send a SASE w/ add. label. Thank you so much,

I'm not sure if I understood your post balvenie. But I some times do sase offers where I get upwards of 50 responses. I find the easiest way to handle it is to ask people to email you if interested or post in that thread.

Then I respond to everyone to send a note stating what they're requesting, sase and where to send to. Then I just fill them as I get them or collect them all and fill at the end of the week. I don't even bother to put down names.

Hope I helped!

Fair and lovely Micha, thank you for the tip.So far there has not been a problem. The very limited sharing I have been doing has been within reasonable bounds and quite easy to manage. Should it increase in the future I may have to make some changes. Thus far things are going pretty much as you have described. It is certainly nice of you to take the time to offer to help.Thank you.
