Has anyone noticed iris marie growing habits!

New Iberia, LA

She became a monster in such a short time .My husband asked if that was a weed growing in a pot!!?? She is 6 foot wide and touching the ground 8 foot and I had slowed up on feeding them getting them ready for winter and she showed me she doesn't need all this stuff. New growers if you are looking for a fast growing hoya that will become a monster in a short time this is the hoya for you.The blooms are just beautiful reminds me of bella but bigger. She is growing under 50 percent shadecloth and high humidity watering has been cut back to once a day and thats growing outside.

Hey Diane, Hoya grow well in hot, humid LA it's a prime plant for that location. Sansevieria would do well also. I wish I could grow mine that well. Norma

How wonderful, Dianne...let me know when you're ready to get out the machete (LOL) so you can get around out there!...would love to try one! :~D

Norma today it is so muggy sometimes I wish the humidity wasn't so high. But then when I go outside I can handle it because my plants love it! :-)
