A Torti Point

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

This is one of the ones that I ran out of slip on tags to denote the father. So I color coded all blooms for 2 weeks with different colored ribbons. Then I promptly forgot what color stood for what brug.
So this one is X Gold ribbon! LOL

If I keep this one, I may name it Persian Cat. It has a flat face and does not hang down but holds itself more horizontal, like a face.

Next summer it probably will look entirely different.

That is awesome Kell.

Woodville, TX(Zone 8a)

Nice, and certainly different from what I usually see posted. Jenny

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Look at some of the color in there.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Well, it is different. Like the colors.

Definitely like a flat faced Persian.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Oh, my gosh, I'm in love, that is spectacular!!! Someday I would love to have a cutting or seed to grow one for my aunt, she has a Red Persian, whose face is oh so similar to your knockout brug!!!! His name is Teeny Baby and he is precious!!!

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Wow !! this one is fantastic. I love the orangy color .They just keep getting better and better. Your doing a great job with your brugs. Kell.

Patricia

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Definitely different. Is this one of your crosses?

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Kell, that is one awesome color , with that center of deep apricot?? or whatever. Donna

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Bet it is a Golden Lady X something. Maybe Jessie Noel. Wouldn't it be great if the whole bloom could be that dark color in the center..........Can't wait to see what it will look like with the next flush.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

My gosh, Kelly, it looks like the Persian kitty my daughter had named Angel Fluff. It is different.

Adrian, MI(Zone 5b)

Oh, very beautiful and different!
Bonnie

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

I like it...what a lovely color...I like the two tone, too!
Isn't it amazing how the flowers almost name themselves for us?!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well, do not hold your breath. Who knows what it will look like in the summer!! But fun for now.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

It looks neat. I agree with Shirley, that it could be a GL cross.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Wow, Kell. Can't wait to see it next summer.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL you guys. You are supposed to be guessing on the huge pink one's parentage. Not this one! Yes it is Golden Lady X gold ribbon!

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

That is such a pretty little thing! Can't wait to see what it looks like next summer.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Ohh its great Kell! I cant wait til next summer! All these wonderful seedlings will keep us warm with anticipation this winter.

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

Very pretty, Kell! Can't wait to see what it looks like next summer!

My Abby is a torti point, but not a persian. Here she is at 7 months, it's hard to believe that my kittens will be a year old next month!

I love it. The more I see of these brugs, the more excited I get for mine next summer. You sure do have a talent for bringing us more lovely's, Kel.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Beautiful cat Ronna.

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

Kell how many plants do you have, or are there too many to count, they are all beautiful

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Pretty bloom Kell!

And a pretty cat Ronna!

And now I'm waiting for Kell to answer kareoke about the # of plants she has! LOL

Mukwonago, WI(Zone 5a)

Pretty...pretty....pretty new brug.....Kell. Did you really mean the "IF" part when you wrote about keeping this one? I hope you keep it. It is so unique.

Oh ...and....Pudgie, my persian just now asked me if I had any reddish Clairol on hand .

Ronna....your little Abby is just darling. I love her color markings.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Kell I love the coloring on that one!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks!! It is really interesting. I am doubtful it will keep its odd coloration next year, but you never know!

I love both kitties. Both are so beautiful.

Gee Kareoke, if I counted them all I would have to realize I was nuts so I do not. But I am sure I have way too many. Realize, when you start growing seedlings, your numbers explode. Also when you look at the cute little seedlings you forget they are going to grow up to be huge so you madly plant more! That is my excuse, and I am sticking to it!

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

lol Kell......I know what you mean though.....

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

This one definitely should be evauated next year. Ronna and Renee your cats are beautiful.

Mukwonago, WI(Zone 5a)

I'm with you, BrugNanny....... This one begs for further evaluation.

Kell.....You gotta to keep this one. It has that special look and potential.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Ronna, Abby is a sweetheart, I love her cute stripes!!

Oh, Renee, your Pudgie is precious, love the striped face and wonderful eyes!!

Gardners all seem to be the same, always waiting on next year. Kell of all the beautiful brugs I've seen this year, I love this one best, I think, LOL!! Did you say it has strong fragrance, or did I dream that??

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 4a)

kell, so what happened to this brug this year? I luv the color variation!
:) Donna

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh it is still alive and well living in the plots. I have taken huge suckers from it at least 3 times to root and I let them die. I just can't keep up. I took a huge piece about 3 weeks ago to send off and I never did. I am pathetic!!! I may have sent a piece to Ada a couple of weeks ago if I noticed it sitting there. I will look for a pic from this year. I know I took some.

Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

I saw on another thread that Gold Ribbon ended up being RK.

For sure doubles (and singles) will look different the following year. I have found that by the second year the inner skirt is dropping down and color has even been more rich.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 4a)

Sounds lovely, Delisa. One day I hope I get to have a double.
:) Donna

Huntsville, AL(Zone 7a)

Gosh, Kell.. you sound just like me! So many plants.. so little time.. Looking forward to seeing pics from this year if you can locate them.

Barb

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

You are so right, Delisa. A few I didn't even recognize the second year. I had a mini double white that bloomed a good month or so the first year. I was so looking forward to it this year forit was a beauty, but I was so shocked. It became a much bigger one that was not even as good as its Mom GL. Odd too because the first year it was in the ground and the second year when the flowers were so much bigger, it was in a pot.

This is it when it was so cute! About 3 inches long. I will look for a pic from this year before I offed it.
