You know, I was wondering what kind of ginger I have, huge, I love the fragrance, thanks for sharing, now I hope I'm right!

THIS GINGER IS VERY HARDY HERE IN SOUTH CAROLINA, I ACCIDENTALLY SPLIT A CLUMP, AND IT IS DOING 10 TIMES BETTER THAN A CLUMP IN ANOTHER AREA THAT WAS NOT. I USE THESE IN JAPANESE TYPE FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS WITH THEI FLOWER CONE AND A COUPLE LEAVES, THE HEIGHT IS WONDERFUL IN THESE TYPES OF ARRANGEMENTS. WE HAVE ALSO SCENTED OUR HOUSE FROM TIME TO TIME WITH THE FLOWERS IN A BIT OF BOILING WATER, IT INTENSIFIES IT A BIT. THIS IS A WONDERFUL PLANT AND I SAW AN ORANGE FLOWERED TYPE AT MY LOCAL NURSERY I BELIEVE I AM TO ADD IN THE SPRING.

LOL, We're such addicts, aren't We???
The branches are so thick I would need a very large vase, I can't wait to try flowers in boiling water, that's a new one on me!!!

IF YOU GET A SHALLOW BOWL/DISH AND USE A FLOWER FROG THEY LOOK FANTASTIC TOO JUST KEEP AN EYE ON THE WATER LEVEL.
