A family of skunks seems to have moved in nearby. They have dug up everything that I planted recently including 2 bleeding hearts and many (many) bulbs. They don't eat them but lay them neatly on top of the soil. They just seem to be looking for grubs under the pines and in any recently disturbed soil. Anyone have a good skunk deterrent? I replanted most of the bulbs under chicken wire yesterday and will see if that helps.
Skunks are digging my bulbs!
