Unstoppable Dr. Seuss

Northern California, CA

Because I'm going to be away from the garden, I've been cutting back and pruning several weeks early this year. Dr. Seuss is determined to continue showing off despite having his entire canopy trimmed back to the bone. This Brug will bloom again despite my attempts to put him to bed early for the winter.

Happenstance, yes, it does like that is a very persistant brug, even tho you are trying to I guess get it to go dormant. My four large pots of brugs are still sitting outside. They are too heavy for me to move and the fellow who sometimes works for me hasn't been here for more than a week. I am afraid after this rain we will get some hard frost, so they need to be moved into my storage room. Donna

Candy, your Dr Seuss is really something. How old is your plant?? I got my DS this year and it has not grown like that. I think maybe it needs more sun...
