Beautiful Salvia! I didn't think I would like a black flowered Salvia, but after seeing your photo, I love it and have to get one this year or next year (if I can't get it this year).

I didn't realize Ireland was zone 9a. I thought it was colder there in the UK. Of course, I envious that you can grow Salvias and other plants that I have to grow as annuals (I'm zone 6a).

My Mom's ancestors came from the Cork area of Ireland. ;-)) Great place to live! I'm very proud to be half Irish!
