Gosh Kristi, it is still so green there. We are looking brown and the leaves are all over the yard now, waiting to be chopped up. Depressing here. I'd be lovin' it at your place. Great pictures.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Thanks Ladies! Shelly, do you have to have everything inside now?
Waterloo- did you get snow your way? I heard it snowed up that way.
It's a bit on the windy/cold side today so I snapped the pictures and ran in. Shirley, we've only had one frost and it didn't kill anything. We are still mowing the lawn. I'm surprised it's so green too.

kareoke- I'll have to bring in the tropicals you see in the pots, some of them. Everything else stays in the ground. If it's hardy it will live if it's not then it croaks. Tough love at my house. LOL

Kell- next time your in town stop by. We even have a pretty good sushi place down the street. I eat there twice a week.

Gloria- do you have Halo Peach? Need it- LOL.... I got a pod off of it that I pollinated with Rosamond. The seeds were so tiny. The other plant in the picture is the 'trash can' seedling. It was pollinated by Kyle's Pink and Creamsickle . The only two blooming at the time. I've picked about 10 pods off and tossed them before they got too big. They were weighing down the branches. The bugs did all the work.

Gretchen, your always too kind.

Here is the trash can seedling early spring. It was lovely.

datdog, It is raining here today and we are loving it. Only second rain since beginning of Sept. Your pictures look so pretty, nice and green. Brugs full of blooms. I have been trying to post a couple of photos of my brugs at east end of GH, can get as far as review then nothing. Fall color is pretty good here now. Donna

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Oh yes. My stuff has been inside for awhile now.. I think 2-3 weeks. We always have one killer snap of cold early.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Kristi, your yard looks great. Thanks for the pictures.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Did you notice datdog's blue flower pot in the southeast corner of her first pic????? Well, the first time I saw it, I fell in love. I followed datdog's threads because I loved the datdog blue pot. I searched for a similar pot forever, and was totally surprised when my kiddos surprised me with this birdbath, which we will, forever, call datdog blue...

Sherry I'm SO jealous! I need that in my yard. It's wonderful.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Wow! Now, that is BLUE! Love it.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Thanks, Kristi & Hibiscus!!! I think it is the most beautiful birdbath I've ever seen - you cannot beat datdog blue in a garden!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Cool birdbath. I'll bet the glazed material is easier to keep clean too. Mine is terra-cotta and can get nasty if not kept cleaned out almost daily.

Brookhaven, PA(Zone 6b)

Great Pics Kristi!

Gosh, all those pods! I hope the few I have make it in the hoouse!!

Beautiful pictures of your garden, Kristi (as always). Sherry, that IS a beautiful blue!! Great of your kids to get that for you.

Kristi, do you have any leftover seeds from the Trashcan seedling? Would love to try that one. Your maya is beautiful!

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

trunnels, everyone in Arky knew I wanted 'datdog blue' but no one knew what color datdog blue was, hahaha. My daughter asked me the exact color and I told her it was the color of Granny's (my mom's) small, blue flower pot, which was datdog blue but, while appearing identical, the pot was a much smaller version of Kristi's pot. I don't think they intended to buy me a birdbath, knowing Potter, our insane cat would stalk all the birds, but when my son's wife and my daughter saw the birdbath, they knew immediately that is was 'datdog blue' and it is, I absolutely adore it and it is very easy to keep clean...

Very nice.
