OOOhhh, Karrie, the suspense!
When my first one looked like that, I was prying open the petals a little to get my first whiff of fragrance, but there wasn't any. Then I checked it again after it was dark outside, and to my surprise it was completely open and smelled very nice! Keep us posted!

Congratulations, Karrie! All that hard work is finally paying off, huh? Way to go!!!

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Congrats Karrie! It still may change color... sometimes it takes them a day or two to show color after they open up.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Congratulations Karrie!! Hope you get over your stuffiness, so you can catch a whiff of it!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

WOWZA, does that smell wonderful! Like a Mixture of honeysuckle & fresh baked lemon cookies.

Someone needs to bottle this up and make some bath & beauty products with this.

I don't mind at all if it ends up being white. I've always favored some of the white ones I've seen on this forum.

My other Brug (Suave X, aka K. Riggs, har har) has over 9 that are opening simultaneously. I am so hoping this weather holds up so I can see the flush.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)
