this is the first year i have had both male & female cones
this is a female cone showing the seed

seed have started to germinate
laying on top of the moist ground
they send a root down first

i pushed some down in the potting soil

that's what I was afraid of... that's not Araucaria heterophylla, but columnaris. We need to move your photos over.
