Passiflora Biflora, tiny flowers, and they bloom 2 at a time side by side, almost went into a square dance call !!!LOL
Another little pretty this morning..
Tropicman.
I love all of your passion flower pictures. Thanks for sharing Janetlee
Hi Janet,
Thanks, and if you ever make it up to the sedgwick county zoo,you can see my large collection of tropical plants,I donated 75% of all my tropicals this year, they were so huge anymore to handle,in my facilities, so they sent out a crew to help dig them up,and it took a semi truck load to haul them all away.
The jungle ,rainforest exhibt will really be packed with plants this winter, they told me I had made the largest plant donation ever, gave me free passes
to come out and visit them, been 3 weeks now,so I took off work today to go see where they planted them all.

You must be very proud and should get a pat on the back for giving such a generous gift. Next time in Wichita, I will certainly go and point and loudly announce...."I know that guy from Dave'sGarden". Thank you Janet
Thanks Janet.
Pete the holticultist there was so pleased to get them,he said tropicals were so hard to come by here in Kansas, and zoos are always on a tight budget.
In fact he said this was better than a kid in a candy store!!!
I feel much better knowing there is a staff of holticultist looking after my plants, except for the gorilla exhibit, where a few of the plants might go too!!!
They were really interested in the ginger,I had plenty of that too!
That stuff really spreads with those underground runners.
Well luch then off to the zoo I go!
Don
What a great idea! 4 yrs ago we were between houses, waiting for our new one to be built. We had to put everything in storage and "pare down" my tropicals collection from about 80 to 11 absolute faves (hoyas, norfolk island pine, etc.). It broke my heart to sell some of them for so little; it makes way more sense to donate them. Hopefully I'll never be in that position again!! But if I am now I know what to do. Thanks Tropicman!
Just got back from the zoo,had a great time and saw a few of my plants,I was told the nicer plants were to go to offices, for they were to good to put out in the jungle,I'm just glad they are safe from the winter.
That is a really pretty passiflora Don! So dainty! What a great idea for your tropicals! I am going to have to do something about mine too. Some of them are just getting way too large to handle anymore. Too bad there isn't a zoo close by here.
