What aquatics are you ordering for next season!

I am beginning to get all kinds of catalogs and I am falling victim to the beautiful photos. I am starting lists and so far I have 3 plants on my list that I want to locate for next year.

Who else has lists of aquatics they want to add to their ponds next year?
What's on your lists?

Fort Wayne, IN(Zone 5a)

I have given up on lists. I have almost given up on ordering online or from catalogues. I keep swearing I won't buy any plant until I have prepared a hole for it and I still have a driveway full of plants that need a hole dug. Jessamine

Jessamine, You are going to be really jealous over this one but...
I got all the plants that were lined up on the driveway like little soldiers into the ground two weeks ago! Go ahead and cyber slap me for bragging!

To celebrate my good fortune, I went out and bought 500 bulbs which I had promised myself I would not do but I did anyway. Why, because I am obviously incapable of exercising any restraint what so ever and it is your fault Jessamine. Why is it your fault? Because I went out to the Menards over here to get a deal like you got and found they didn't even offer bulbs at that location. I was so hoping to get a deal of the century that I drove around to other Menards. Well, they had bulbs allrightie! And bulbs is what I bought. I liked those Thalia Daffodils so well that I drove to all Menards in the area and wiped them out. Then I got to thinking about other bulbs and went back to all the same Menards and wiped them out of the white Dutch Iris. And then there were these really nice white hyacinths. I had to have those too. Needless to say, I didn't get the deal you got at Menards but I still got a great deal so I was happy to buy even more bulbs. Can we say glutton for punishment? Time for me to go try to find my bulb auger!

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

Well, it's only 40F outside right now and today is a perfect example of why Chicago is called the Windy City. By my calculations, I should have all of these in the ground right about the time to go shopping for Thanksgiving. Think of me in my parka with my bulb auger out there drilling away because that's where I'll be while all of you are in front of your roaring fireplaces. I could just kick myself in the rear for this one and particularly after I swore to myself I wouldn't do this to myself again.

Maybe I need a 10 step program or something.
