Canada seed trading

Is it legal to trade seeds with someone in Canada? Thank you for any and all responses :) Gretchen

Gretchen, After reading the Canadian Food Inspection Agency website, which regulates the importing of house plants etc. I believe it is legal to trade seeds with Canada, so long as no soil is on the seeds.

On a personal note, I've traded seeds with people in the USA, and not had any problem with customs.

It is legal to send seeds to Canada but it is not legal for Canadians to send seeds to the US without a phyto. You need to read the APHIS rules.
